FIFA CLUB WORLD CUP 2021 - ABU DHABI
Road Transit executed a comprehensive transportation and traffic management plan for the FIFA Club World Cup 2021. By working closely with key stakeholders, we delivered an event experience that was praised globally by participants and attendees alike.
THE PROJECT
We developed a comprehensive traffic management plan for the FIFA Club World Cup at MBZ and NAH Stadiums. This plan included detailed operating procedures with staff assignments, scheduling, and the placement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Additionally, we implemented wayfinding and signage solutions and successfully planned and executed an external park-and-ride system to enhance the overall event experience.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
We implemented effective traffic exit plans tailored to the client’s specific needs. By closely coordinating with the police, we developed a traffic management strategy that resulted in minimal delays and no accidents during the event. By strategically dividing the Park & Ride (P&R) locations based on the seating layout, we successfully reduced crowd congestion at the stadium loading zones.
UAE NATIONAL 49TH - ABU DHABI, AL JUBAIL ISLAND 2020

THE PROJECT
We developed a comprehensive traffic management plan for the UAE NATIONAL 49TH – ABU DHABI, AL JUBAIL ISLAND 2020. This plan included detailed operating procedures with staff assignments, scheduling, and the placement of furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Additionally, we implemented wayfinding and signage solutions and successfully planned and executed an external park-and-ride system to enhance the overall event experience.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
We successfully coordinated with the ‘Lead’ development and Island developers to ensure smooth operations on the island. The build phase proceeded without any issues, and we established a system for the entry and exit of heavy vehicles. The highway closure was meticulously planned and managed, with valuable assistance from the Abu Dhabi police, ensuring seamless execution throughout the event.
Ras Al Khaimah Half Marathon the 16th edition – Marjan Island 2023
THE PROJECT
We designed, planned, and executed a traffic management plan, ensuring efficient on-site parking for all groups. This included planning the race line and setting up cones along the marathon path, as well as installing all necessary traffic equipment for the event.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
We worked closely with RAK police to coordinate road closures, ensuring everyone’s safety throughout the event. Our effective coordination with RAK police and RAK TA enabled us to handle traffic efficiently on the event night and throughout the marathon.
This marathon was the largest edition so far. Over 3,000 cones were set up for the event, and all were removed within an hour after the race ended, showcasing our commitment to efficient and timely operations.
FORMULA 1 GRAND PRIX - ABU DHABI, YAS ISLAND 2017

THE PROJECT
Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management chose Road Transit as their transport partner for the Etihad Airways Formula One Grand Prix at Yas Marina Circuit. We were responsible for designing and managing the entire transportation system, covering all parking zones. Our services included providing complete transportation solutions for VVIPs, VIPs, and regular spectators attending the race.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
Our team successfully ensured smooth transportation with exceptional movement and exit times for pedestrians. We coordinated effectively with important groups like Abu Dhabi police, civil defense, and the event security committee, resulting in one of the area’s best transportation efforts. Following our success with the AD Grand Prix, the UAE government now favors Road Transit for major sporting events.
Red Fest 2017-2019
THE PROJECT
Our responsibilities included designing, planning, and executing an artist transportation liaison logistics plan for the event. We coordinated artist movements, booked all necessary fleet cars, ensured all movements occurred as scheduled, and provided real-time movement reports to all relevant stakeholders. We also maintained high hygiene standards for the fleet cars and managed fleet drivers’ operations, performing preventative maintenance and route checks before each transfer.
OUR ACHIEVEMENT
Through successful coordination between all relevant stakeholders, we facilitated the smooth movement of seven world-class international artists. Our operations were flawless and unhindered, exemplifying our commitment to excellence and efficiency in event logistics.
UAE TOUR
Road Transit was contracted by ADSC to plan and execute city-wide road closures for the inaugural editions of the UAE Tour in 2019 and 2020. Both years were a tremendous success for Road Transit. We provided core team managers to support the complete logistics and staffing of the event and trained and deployed over 1,200 transport staff across Abu Dhabi, Al Ain, and Al Ruwais. Additionally, we deployed more than 5,000 cones and barriers, ensuring efficient traffic management and safety.
Responsibilities Overview
We created detailed plans for staff, signage, and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to ensure sufficient resources were in place at the right time. We procured and distributed wayfinding signage to help vehicles access parking areas and operated a vehicle access parking permit system. Throughout the event, we maintained excellent communication, ensuring seamless operations and a positive experience for all participants.
ADNOC MARATHON
Following the tremendous success of the UAE Tour, Road Transit was assigned to design and develop a detailed parking, traffic, and road closure management plan, which was executed flawlessly. Our responsibilities included the design and implementation of comprehensive traffic and parking management plans. We trained and provided over 300 transport staff and deployed more than 5,000 cones and barriers to ensure smooth operations.
Additionally, we created detailed staff and FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) dot plans to ensure that sufficient staff and equipment were in the right place at the right time. This meticulous planning and execution led to a highly successful event without any mistakes, reinforcing our reputation for excellence in event management.

The Project
We created a detailed traffic management plan for the event, including planning and operating on-site parking for all client groups. We installed all necessary traffic FF&E to facilitate the execution phase, integrating an external wayfinding signage plan to guide different groups to their dedicated parking areas.

Our team oversaw the transport operation and supervised the traffic marshals, ensuring smooth coordination between the traffic team, lead developers, and clients. This resulted in flawless and smooth traffic and transport operations throughout the venue..
Aramco Ladies Golf - 2022
Road Transit was confirmed as a supplier for the first time, providing comprehensive airport arrivals and departures coordination, as well as parking and traffic management. We also managed the hire car program (CC) and liaised with all stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
